Meena Karunanidhi Senior Software Engineer
Meena develops and optimizes Invision’s machine learning applications. She holds a Masters in Computer Engineering at University of Toronto, with emphasis on artificial intelligence and heterogeneous parallel programming. Her thesis was based on the evaluation of mixed numerical precision in convolutional neural networks. Prior to that, she spent 3 years working at a startup in India focused on the design and parallelization of image processing and Machine learning applications. In her spare time, Meena enjoys keeping active by playing badminton and swimming.

Seydi Zorlu Embedded Software Engineer
Seydi Zorlu is an embedded software engineer with over 20 years of experience in taking products from conception to production. His experience includes designing and developing software of embedded devices and systems. He holds a BSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Seydi enjoys traveling, anthropology and has a keen interest in colonial history of South America.

Amal Feriani Senior ML Engineer
Amal is focused on the application of deep learning techniques to efficiently solve real-world problems. Prior to joining Invision she worked at Netatmo developing deep learning algorithms for smart cameras, leading the development of efficient face recognition models. Amal reduce inference time on the camera CPU by 50% and enhanced the performance of face verification by 6%. She also worked on several research projects such as deep ensemble learning and fairness in face recognition.
Amal earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie and an M.S. in Computer Science and Machine Learning from University Paris Dauphine. During her masters she worked at IBM France developing a dynamic dashboard to monitor support team’s activity. Post graduation Amal joined the IBM Watson team where she work on the implementation of NLP-based applications (virtual assistant, email-analyzer).
Outside work, Amal enjoys hiking and sports, most recently taking up yoga and kickboxing. She also enjoys concerts and theater.

Camila Sanchez Software Engineer
Camila integrates trained machine learning models and application code in C++. She also maintains the product demos, and can occasionally be seen pacing in meetings rooms and staring at cameras as she tests the demos. Camila graduated from Ryerson University’s Biomedical Engineering program and joined Invision in May 2018. Camila was awarded the Academic Excellence Award from Ryerson’s FEAS Department and an Ontario Center of Excellence TalentEdge Internship for her work. Camila enjoys relaxing and spending time with family and friends. After her recent visit to Canadas’s Wonderland she is developing plans for a team outing (and is particularly curious about the biomedical impact of 4+g on her teammates).
